The Mets are talking to Wright and Dickey about contract extensions

The New York Mets have been talking to R.A. Dickey and David Wright about contract extensions, according to Andy Martino of the Daily News.

Mike Puma hinted to the idea earlier this month that contract extensions for Wright and Dickey might be complete by the World Series. The Mets hold club options on both Wright and Dickey for 2013 with a combined $21 million for the 2013 season.
