Starting Pitchers:
RHP Dillon Gee (4-3, 4.48 ERA) will take the hill for the Mets.
RHP Phil Hughes (5-5, 4.96 ERA) will take the hill for the Yankees.
Game Notes:
- Last night was absolutely awful. I don’t want to hear anything about a sweep from Yankees fans today or tomorrow, so let’s take this game and take tomorrow’s Game.
- I have some strange feeling that Andres Torres is going to score a run or two tonight… just a feeling.
- If there’s a place for Ike Davis to hit a home run, Yankee Stadium is it. But, more realistically, Lucas Duda might crush a homer out of there.
Let’s Go Mets!
