Not much to say, but that we look bad. The Mets couldn’t cash in on opportunities tonight, nor did they hold the Diamondbacks when they needed to. The Mets just looked straight up awful, and did have all week. Even in Colorado the Mets were playing very sloppy, and nonchalant.
Johan Santana pitches for the Mets tomorrow at 4:05 PM EDT. The job of an ace in the situation the Mets are in right now is to be the guy who stops the losing streak and puts the Mets back on track with a W tomorrow. However, the Mets can’t score runs for him… Hopefully things start to get better.
